The Elizabeth Freeman Center

Areas Served:
Elizabeth Freeman Center provides visitation services for families in Berkshire County and surrounding areas. Our two visitation venues are located in Pittsfield, MA and North Adams, MA. Visits are held on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Program Info:
The purpose of supervised visitation is to provide families with an opportunity for safe, conflict-free, and neutral contact. Elizabeth Freeman Center offers supervised visits, semi-supervised visits, and monitored exchanges for families who are experiencing high-risk levels of conflict including both domestic violence and sexual assault. Visiting parents are responsible for paying fees which range from $5.00 to $30.00 per visit and are assessed using a sliding scale. Referrals are generally made by the courts or the Department of Children and Families. Private referrals are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Elizabeth Freeman Center proudly collaborates with the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department. During visitation hours, an officer from the Sheriff's Department is present to ensure the safety and security of all families participating in this program.
