Regional Training
SVN is pleased to announce:The Supervised Visitation Network S.A.F.E. Regional Training Series
This intense training program is about:
- SAFETY for all participants
- ACCESS for parents and children
- FAMILIES who need our respect and integrity
- EXCELLENCE in service provision
The S.A.F.E. training series is a Regional Training Program provided by designated SVN Trainers and is formally presented by the SVN home office. The curriculum for the Regional Trainings will include content from the eleven completed modules of the SVN Training Module.
Each training will begin with a brief introduction and overview of the Supervised Visitation Network and the The SVN Standards, The Code of Ethics, SVN Training Requirements,conflict of interest, and confidentiality.
And will be followed by sessions based on the SVN Training Manual:
All Participants will receive modules from the the SVN Training Manual and a CD with copies of the PowerPoint presentations.
Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance and completed participation will meet approximately 16 hours of training requirements as outlined in the SVN Standards.

An in depth look at the SVN Standards and Code of Ethics from the perspective of the Program Manager/Owner of an SV program/practice.
Working with the Courts
Safety and Supervised Visitation
SVN Standards required policies and procedures for safety. Working with Law Enforcement, establishing policies to protect all participants.
Child Welfare Cases Part 1
-Understanding Child Welfare Cases in the context of Supervised Visitation
Child Welfare Cases Part 2
Practice Considerations in Complex Child Welfare Cases
Parents with Special Needs: Substance use, Developmental Disorders, and Chronic Illness
All attendees will receive copies of the newest modules to the SVN training manual: Working with the Courts, Parents with Special Needs, and Child Welfare I and II. These are designed to be added to your existing SVN Training Manual.
If you have not purchased the SVN Training Manual or attended a previous Regional Training, you can purchase a complete SVN Training Manual with all 11 Modules ($85 value) for $25
